HEE HEE HEE. I beat Bioshock 2 as a good playthrough and.. sob. Such a bittersweet ending. ;o;
'Twas a good game, overall. I certainly enjoyed it, despite the gameplay mechanisms being a direct copy of the first game. Except for hacking. I liked the original hacking system better. Safes are now my mecha-mortal enemies.........
Anyway, this started out as a slight idea for a comic when I was playing Bioshock 2 with my friend the other day. A fedora came flying off a splicer and we joked about how you should be able to pick those up and wear them, and then I saw a party hat laying in another part of Rapture and I giggled... And then I remembered that I haven't done anything for #themethursdays since it was rebooted... and thus I decided to make this comic for the theme of Love. (: Despite it being Valentine's Day, the theme didn't specify what TYPE of love, so I decided on the Father-Daughter relationship.
Kotaku recently has an article on the "Daddening of Video Games," and I must say, I've noticed and I agree. ;o; I love my video game daddies... And my real dad. He's awesome too. <3
I could have cleaned this up more, but MS Paint makes me lazy (Damn you, Andrew Hussie) and I don't really have any alternatives. Someone can clean this up if they really want. a
You do realize that bioshock 2 takes places ten years after bioshock. and there's no similarities to the original game. except the security, vending machines, gathers garden etc. etc.
sorry...just proving the fact. i know basically every thing bioshock: splicers, big daddies...hell u name it I'll give u the info. bout whatever it is. any way i love your drawing a lot.
